PCBSync Engineering Tools

Low Cost PCB Assembly that engineers actually ship.

Run your board through the cost engine. See the unit price, the stencil cost, and the per-joint rate before you upload a single Gerber. No quote forms. No sales calls. Real numbers, built on the same line we run for production.

Five engineering utilities. Zero login. Built for the people who actually upload the Gerbers.

Low cost only matters if you ship. These are the same tools our application engineers use when they review your project — open to you, free, no account required.

Live Cost Engine

Drag the sliders, see the unit price. The same formula our quoting engine uses — board area, layer count, SMT joints, THT pins, qty discount tiers.

BOM Analyzer

Upload a CSV or Excel BOM. We surface obsolete MPNs, suggest pin-compatible alternates from our stock, and flag the long-lead parts before they wreck your build schedule.

Standard · CSV / XLSX
DFM Pre-Check

Gerber goes in, an annotated DFM report comes back. Trace clearance, annular ring, pad-to-pad spacing, missing apertures — caught before tooling, not after.

Gerber · RS-274X / X2
Component Lead-Time DB

Real-time lead times across major distributors plus our in-house stock. Search by MPN, get availability across 14 vendors and three of our warehouses in one view.

Volume Pricing Curve

See where your board's unit price actually breaks. Plot cost-per-board against quantity from 1 to 10,000 — the curve tells you where the next setup amortizes.

Instant Quote Engine

Upload Gerber + BOM + CPL. Binding quote in under 60 seconds — bare board, assembly, and components priced separately so you see exactly where the dollars go.

Cost is engineered, not discounted. Here's where every dollar is removed.

Low cost PCB assembly stops being a marketing claim the moment you can see the breakdown. We don't cut quality — we cut steps, batches, and middlemen. This is the math.

Sourcing at the line, not at the desk

Our buyers sit ten meters from the SMT line and clear $4M/month in component spend. Distributor break pricing applies on every quote — you get the volume tier even on a five-board prototype.

22%saved

Panelization optimized at quote time

The quoting engine runs nesting on the panel before it prices the board. Yield jumps from a typical 71% to 89%, and the saved area comes straight off your unit cost — not ours.

17%saved

Shared stencil runs for prototypes

Stencils are batched across compatible prototypes overnight. The $25 line item on your quote is a real cost, not a markup — three years ago the same line was $80.

One vertically-integrated facility

Bare board, stencil, components, assembly, AOI, X-ray, and functional test under one roof. No shipping between vendors, no per-handler margin, no waiting on a third-party fab to send blanks.

Cheap is meaningless if it can't build your board. These are the limits — the real ones, the ones our process engineers will sign their name to.

PCBSync SMT assembly line with operator running production SMT Line 3 · Shenzhen Facility

Six SMT lines. One quote engine. The same people who build your board priced it.

Every quote you generate runs through the same MES that schedules production. When the engine tells you a 100-board run is $5.65 per unit, that's the price the line will build it for — not a marketing rate that gets walked up after you submit a BOM.

Our application engineers review every project before it's released to production. If a footprint won't yield, we tell you before the stencil is cut. That's what "low cost" actually requires.

What engineers ask before they upload.

Does "low cost" actually mean lower quality?
No. Every assembly is built to IPC-A-610 Class 2 as standard, with Class 3 available for medical and aerospace. The cost reduction comes from vertical integration, panelization yield, and direct component sourcing — not from skipped inspection or shortened reflow profiles.
What's the real minimum order — 1 piece, or is that marketing?
Genuinely one piece for prototype assembly. The cost engine will show you that a quantity of 1 hits the setup costs hard (stencil + setup amortize across one board), so per-unit pricing optimizes around 50+. We build singles every day; we just want you to see the curve.
Do you source components or do I supply them?
Either. Our consigned model has you ship parts; the turnkey model has us source everything against your BOM. About 80% of customers choose turnkey because our distributor relationships clear better pricing than they'd get retail. Mixed (we source some, you supply the long-lead specials) is also supported.
What files do I need to upload for a real quote?
Gerber (RS-274X or X2), the BOM in CSV or Excel with manufacturer part numbers, and a CPL (centroid / pick-and-place file) for SMT. ODB++ and IPC-2581 are also accepted. If you only have a Gerber, we can still quote bare-board fabrication.
How long is a quote valid?
Fourteen days, binding. Component-cost volatility is the one variable we can't fully absorb, so if a part moves significantly on the open market within those 14 days, we'll notify you before the build releases — but the labor, fab, and assembly prices are locked.
Where are the boards built?
Shenzhen facility, six SMT lines, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. Application engineering and quoting are 24/5 across English, Mandarin, and German. Shipping is DDP-available to 76 countries.

Stop quoting. Start building.

The engine above is honest math. Upload your files for a binding price in under a minute — or talk to an application engineer first if you'd rather.
